Alvin Scott, (now 70, also known as Ahmet Sehsuvar) was the loved scorned ex-romeo of Lillia Ivanova, 38. Ivanova had recently left Scott and was temporarily staying with her male friend Elie Abi-Saab, 48. As far as we know the pair were literally just friends and there is no reason I could find to think otherwise. Scott however did think otherwise and didn’t believe for a second that it was an innocent friendship. Convinced his estranged wife was seeing another man, a jealous rage began to fuel within him.
Scott had been working as a private investigator and on August 3rd 2001 he took it upon himself to stake out at the apartment where his soon-to be ex wife, Ivanova, was staying with Abi-Saab. Scott waited patiently in his car, watching. He continued to watch as the pair exited the apartment building. This was the moment he’d been waiting for!
Before either Ivanova or Abi-Saab had a chance to react, and perhaps before they even realised he was there, Scott ran the pair down, exited his vehicle and proceeded to shoot them both in the head and chest. They were each shot 3 times. He then ran away and has been running ever since.
Needless to say, Scott had taken the separation and impending divorce badly. The FBI believe Scott had the notion of- “If I can’t have her, no one can’, carrying out the attack on the very day the estranged couple were due in court for a divorce hearing. Gunning them down in what is believed to be a premeditated crime of passion.
The slayings have seen Scott placed onto the FBI’s most wanted list, with a reward of at least $100,000 for information leading to his arrest. He was last seen in 2004 when a member of the public reported seeing him in Bulgaria but he got away before Authorities were able to apprehend him.
Scott, a trained military man, has been on the run ever since and could possibly be in Greece, Hungary or his homeland of Turkey. However, with the ability to speak several languages fluently, he could realistically be anywhere!
The FBI say he is probably using many identities and fake passports in order to allude capture and have warned he is likely armed and IS dangerous. In addition to being military trained, he is also a firearms expert and is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
According to the wanted poster, he is a white Turkish national, 6ft tall, grey hair, brown eyes and last weighed around 170 lbs. Anyone with information is asked to contact their local FBI or American embassy.
